Guess Who’s Back

by Mario on October 12, 2010

Hey,

Here is a super short video for you.

I’d like to say thank you to everybody who got back to me with the intention to motivate me again and to cheer me up.

It worked! :)

I also want to thank everybody who’s following my story and my journey in this crazy Internet Marketing world and circus.

I was in a little bit of a slump and I finally feel better and positive things are already beginning to happen.

One thing that I’ve learned is that it’s all about self-discipline and implementation. You can have all the knowledge in the world, if you don’t use it – it won’t do you any good.

One of the things that really got to me recently are distractions. I knew that I had to shut them down in order to be productive but I didn’t listen to my own advice anymore. Rather than getting the job done, I distracted myself with Facebook, Youtube, the Warrior forum and any other form of entertainment that I could use as an excuse not to work on my projects.

Now the really weird thing is that I knew that it was wrong, still, I wouldn’t stop doing it. Rather than taking care of customers, products and projects, I’ve spent my time following other people’s updates on Facebook or watching NBA videos on Youtube.

And you know how it is, when it rains, it pours. Beside the fact that it wasn’t going well business wise, there were other things going on in my personal life that I didn’t really like.

All this led me to slowly get very frustrated and upset with myself. And that’s really just the short version.

I got so frustrated that I reached a point where I just couldn’t take it anymore. I felt like the biggest fool around having all the books and knowledge about productivity and success without using it anymore.

So I took a break from the computer, I’ve sent an very honest email to my list, I went through many of the testimonials that I’ve gotten and I listened to some of my favorite motivational CD’s and DVD’s.

All this helped me to understand again why I’m in this business in the first place and what it is that I’m trying to achieve. It also reminded me of the fact that there are people out there that care about what I do, people that’d love to learn more from me.

So here I am again, ready to make the best of the last quarter of 2010! I invite you to join me on this journey to Internet Marketing success.

I have two reports for you below. They are superb, especially the one from Rich Schefren, one of the marketers that I really do respect. He’s the ‘Guru’ to the gurus so to speak, if that makes any sense.

Anyway, I want you to pay attention to his marketing. He’s giving away this report, which presents massive value, in order to build a long lasting relationship with the reader. He gives value first, not asking for anything in exchange.

This is how you build a following!

You can access the report HERE!

The second report is from Andy Jenkins, and he’s following the same principle. He’s giving away great value and at the same time he builds a relationship with you and he’s setting the stage to let you know about his new product Kajabi.

You can access the report HERE!

Read and digest the superb content of these reports but also make sure to realize the marketing behind it.

I wish you all the best,

Mario Brown

Let's talk more about this... can you do me a quick 30-second favor and leave a comment below?

I’m glad to see you back in good form Mario.

In my view, you should use your personal experiences of ‘slump’ and the actions that you have taken in order to overcome your difficulties, to produce a comprehensive report and/or a more detailed video than this one.

The content would be extremely valuable (not least as it is personal and comes from someone who has overcome real world problems – albeit temporary ones in your case) and could be targeted to those who have similar problems in their (business) life.

Just my thoughts.

Best Regards,
Jeff.

Hi Mario,
Great to see you back giving us inspiration and advice again.

I have been going through the same thing as you, getting distracted online. Have been trying to work out why I have suddenly got lazy with my work and preferring to see if anyone has replied to my facebook than to write an article. What is even stranger is that I had just started to make a little money and proved I can do it yet unable to take it to the next step.
So, you admitting that it had happened to you, showing us that we all could go through this will help others get back on track.
Your readers will respect your honesty and learn from you.
Now, time for me to roll my sleeves up and do some work.
Have just downloaded the 2 pdf’s and will start with reading them.
Looking forward to your next blog and glad that you are back on track.

Jeff, that’s a great idea, let me check if I have enough to make a report out of it. Thank you for your reply.

Mario,

Good to see you back and glad you’re feeling better! Just wanted to tell you that I’ve been exposed to a TON of internet marketers and you’re one of the few (can probably count on one hand) I feel I can trust—and you put out great stuff on top of it!

Also, you’re so young—got your whole life ahead of you…what I wouldn’t do to be in your shoes when I was your age!

Keep your head up, you’re making a real difference!

Hi Mario, Nothing’s lost – you gained experience (btw, my thoughts were with you at the time!) and you always have the IMers around that you so generously coach. Stay cool, Di

Hey Mario don’t sweat it. Happens to all of us. You just have to get back into the game. Just take it day by day. Do something each and every day to improve on your business.

Hey maybe someday we can team up and make a product together (WSO). Let me know if you would like to do that.

BTW, I know what you mean about watching to many NBA videos on you tube. I just love that stuff!!

Take Care,

Rey
